Daily Deviation

Given 2007-10-20
Today marks the day that we celebrate Traditional ART, and with this day I would like to bring the community an extraordinary piece. "The Wise Wanderer", sculpted by *MarkNewman, shows us a view of a man who travels far and wide. The talent that this Artist brings us is unique; the way he delivers his piece is something not often seen in the Sculpture gallery, not to mention textures and details that are out of this world. I am very proud to present everyone this sculpture in celebration of Traditional Art Day! ( Suggested by `lazybutt and Featured by `JesusIV )

This really reminds me of Odin. The wide hat, the cloak, the birds, the strong wind- Just an impression.

Wonderful flow in the cloak, and the way you incorporated the birds is really clever and cool. Nice texture on the base as well.

Fantastic! He reminds me of Ogion the Silent from "Wizard of Earthsea."

Once again, I love your work. This is so inspiring for me.

I came across your work a few years ago from Bowen designs and fav'd your stuff but I was too busy to check it out at the time.

Now that I have a chance to see the gallery it's just so amazing what you are doing with clay.
