This is the original sculpture from a line of figurines called "Ebony Visions" designed by Thomas Blackshear.
I sculpted this in Super Sculpey.

Daily Deviation"Iris in bloom" by *MarkNewman is a wonderful piece of sculpture with an immense diversity in both textures and structure, the folds in her clothes, the firm stalks on the flowers, the texture of the wooden tree, even the subtle details such as the lines on the palms of her hands and eyebrows have been painstakingly crafted. This was sculpted with Super Sculpey and some very small sculpting tools. Nothing special.

maybe the tools aren't something special but the sculpture is. i'd say you are extremely talented

this is beautiful, the way you captured the moment, with all of the careful attention to detail that i imagine that required.

just wondering, did you make this from a drawing of Mr Blackshear's or did he do a sculpture and this is your interpretation/refinement?
