Artist's Comments
This is a sculpt of a character from a much anticipated video game coming out this October called Brutal Legend. 'Eddie Riggs'. A rock-n-roll roady, guitar playing, axe swinging, demon killing hero played by Jack Black.
This was commissioned by Electronic Arts as a promotional give away. There will be 1000 of these produced. This was sculpted mostly in Super Sculpey. The guitar was built out of Styrene plastic. I even mixed in some real chicken bones strewn throughout the base. This stands 17" tall |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The shoes are fantastic (love the soles!) as is the texture on his vest, it is so subtle and looks perfect.
Interestingly, I prefer the unpainted version.
Another - and you probably get tired of me saying this - Excellent piece, man.
