This is a bust I sculpted in memory of my Sister Bonnie who was killed in a car accident back in October of 2002.
I worked on it about 2 weeks after the accident. It was the only way I knew how to deal with the greif I was going through.
I had 4 bronze casting made and gave one to my Mother,
one for my father, one for her partner, and one for me.
Oh...My sincere condolences... It's really a great thing, notable and touching deed you have done in memory of your sister. I hold you in high respect. And let your sister be remembered forever.
Fantastic Mark, and a great tribute. I am a big fan of your work and the fact that you can not only fabricate what is in your head but also make such a remarkable likeness, she would be honored. I lost my younger sister at 16, and unfortunately drank to deal with it.
She was so beautiful, this piece made me kinda emotional, apologies If I in turn made you emotional with this comment. Its a wonderful sculpture of her, you just caught her joy so wonderfully. This is a timeless piece.
Oh my goodness... I know this was back in 2007 but I'm so terribly sorry for your loss... You did a wonderful job capturing her spirit. She looks like a kind woman. <3
Can you please clearly explain steps between this sculpture and bronze ?
