I really like it, but honestly his claws are way too long. He has to retract them into his forearms (which are anywhere 16" - 19" from middle finger to the elbow joint in real life) It just seems a little odd.
I'm not even sure how to describe how badass this sculpt is, to try & give it justice verbally seems way way too hard. I wish the busts and statues that marvel and sideshow knock out were of this quality.
were the claws commisioned that long? because like whoever above mentioned, they seem to mess with the style because the rest of his body is set in the "real world" while his claws seem at tad more on the cartoon side.
Except the claws... I know this has been pointed out all ready, but they need to be short enough to retract into his forearm. As an effect the long claws are very stellar, but at a realism standpoint (however 'real' a comic book character can be. ) I imagine they'd be extremely painful and cumbersome to fight with.
I do hope you possibly color this sometime, though.

OMG. O_O That is stunning. The level of detail you've worked into him is just awe-inspiring. I keep looking at it, trying to find a part I like most to compliment you on ... but it's far too well done for that. You've paid so much attention to every tiny area that it's simply perfect.
Another excellent and professional maquette! Stunning detail and the texture is just out of this world!! The hair on the arm, the weave in the fabric of his torn up shirt and jeans. Its' like you just life-casted a midget version of Wolverine! XDD But really, outstanding work, as always. Every view of it just exudes with excellence. I love the shape of the muscles, the power in his stance, the negative space between the limbs, all of it is just so professional!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
