This is another fire place facade I'm sculpting for George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch. That's the place where they make all the "movie magic". I'm still tweaking it. This was designed by Erik Tiemens, a very talented concept artist. It was a pleasure working with him on this project. This will be cast in bronze and installed in the main house at the Ranch. The building is an incredible art piece in itself. Arts and craft style filled with art nouveau style carpentry and furniture, along with numerous original paintings by Norman Rockwell, Maxfield Parish among other famous artists and masterpieces. It's quite an honor to have a piece I worked on among all that great art.

This was sculpted with Chavant CM50. A hard oilbase clay.

Thanks Walter. That was the toughest part of this job. Keeping the symmetry and consistency of the curves. Very time consuming.

You lucky Dog. I met George Lucas down at the grand opening of Star Tours at Disneyland. He is a very fun friendly man. Good luck and hopefully you get a final picture once it is placed in his ranch.
