Fireplace front

Here is the final patina on the bronze casting of the fireplace facade sculpture for Skywalker Ranch. This still needs the final wax coat to seal it.
I'm finally taking it in next week for the installation.
I'm real happy how this came out. This was designed by Erik Tiemens. It was a pleasure working with Erik on this project.

This was a collaborative effort. Gabe the mold maker, Steen in the the metal shop and Aiya the patina artist who are all part of Artworks Foundry in Berkeley Ca. founded and still run by Piero and Rose Mussi. Great crew.
I'll get some final pics of it in place and post them later.
