I've a brother in the army.This is spot on. One of your best. Sorry to ask, but how close to home is this topic for you, you have family in the military. Your ability to capture the sincerity of the emotion is Uncanny. you can almost imagine the tears.

amazing work! i have admired your skills for quite some time .in the picture ,is that a cd sleeve that they are standing on ? (just wondering as a possible visual reference to the 1/6th scale notation).

Thank. No, that is just a circle shape to define the base size I made for the sculpt. I think it is about 7" diameter. The sculpt is around 11" tall.
